"Drowning." - A Short Film

1 word. 3 lives. That's how it began and ended.
A family.
Family is like glass, what you pour in it runs through the veins. Why would you shatter the glass, break the pattern? The past is sometimes futile -- something illustrated in influential films, like The Bicycle Thief, which introduce elements of loss and empathy through cinematic shots and the Kuleshov effect, evident in Social realism films.
My goal is to convey a message -- something genuine; something lost and loved. In doing so, I wanted to introduce how a glass half full creates a ripple effect throughout a family: alcoholism.
"We are all drowning in our past to find our future".
