The Man Who Almost Killed Himself was inspired by the article 'Ethnography, Art and Death' by Andrew Irving.

The Man Who Almost Killed Himself opened at Summerhall during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as part of Hibrow Hour: a Hibrow co-production with the BBC in partnership with Odeon Cinemas and supported by Arts Council England.
