Easy sun shade install for Tesla glass roof, big summer cabin comfort improvement

A sunshade should have been built into the Model Y, but for some reason, Tesla didn't think about it. A few weeks ago, I installed this aftermarket sun shade that clings onto the inside of the roof with plastic clips that wedge in between the headliner and the glass roof.

It's a five-minute job to install and provides instant relief in the hot summer sun. Temperatures are much lower when leaving the car parked outdoors, but also the cabin is more comfortable when driving with less heat radiating from the roof.
