old rusty sledgehammer head gets a short handle restoration

This hammerhead has been hanging around for a long time, no idea where it came from. The longer end has cracks so my guess is the other end cracked worse and was cut off.

I already have a normal sledgehammer so I figured this needed a short handle. handle material is Tasmanian Oak.
