Terraria bows that make wooden arrow useful...?

Bows. Something you might think it's outdated and useless, since the dawn of guns and gunpowders, but somehow, Terraria's bow is stronger than a gun at some point. How, and why. What are these, are you shooting an arrow at the speed of sound? if that's the case, that would make some sense.

But instead of talking about physics in Terraria, let's talk about some bows that automatically turns wooden arrow to their special arrows, like bone arrow..? wait, that's not bone arrow. How about frost arrow, which is not a frostfire arrow!... hmm, those naming. Probably I'm wrong, but who can blame me, it's not like you can see the name properly anyway.

So, you may notice some already well known weapon, like The bee's knees, while some quite not heard, but existed, like those old one's army bows (do even anyone play this?... not sure why.), and even new one, added in 1.4!... I think journey's end only added 1 bow for that. I forgot the video. umm I'm too tired. please send help.
