Backpacking Four Pass Loop: Maroon Bells / Snowmass Wilderness, Colorado

Hope you enjoy what I consider to be the backpacking trip of a lifetime. Gorgeous views, mountain passes, hammock camping and adventure was the name of the game when we went on one of the best and most popular hikes in Colorado. The Four Pass Loop in the Maroon Bells was truly epic. We take on West Maroon, Frigid Air, Trail Rider and Buckskin passes (in that order) clockwise around the loop. This was my first trip out West and definitely won't be the last. Maximum elevation was around 12,500 feet.

Watch as we slog through the altitude, get caught at the top of a pass during a thunderstorm, stay at some beautiful campsites, trek through the snow and only have one itsy bitsy tumble.
