1.SOAK the hair (preferably rinsing in a sink or a shower with your head tilted back) rinse very thoroughly and condition if needed but shampoo is not necessary since we want a little extra weight to hold the hair down

2.SHAPE the style with the help of a foam, I’m using the @aveda nutriplenish styling treatment foam

3 SET the look in place with a generous amount of gel, I’m using the #aveda nutriplenish curl gelee, and continue to comb the style into the desired shape. Once you like the look, use 2 prong/duckbill clips to hold the style in place.

4 DRY — you do not need to leave this wet look soaking wet! Gently diffuse without disturbing the cast that will form from the stylers.

5 (optional) add a little hair oil for some additional shine and to soften the curls. I personally love the nutriplenish multi-use hair oil.
