THIS will make you a better Industrial Designer

If there was ONE piece of advice I would give my new Industrial designer self, it would be this:⁠⠀
⁠Take the time to find a hobby where you can design something, make it with your hands, use it in your everyday life and then refine it in future iterations....⁠⠀
⁠⠀
If you are someone who, like me, learns by doing, this type of experience is even more relevant. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Industrial design is this weird profession where you design a product for a manufacturing process that can happen on the other side of the world (depending on where you live). We are expected to know about how things are made from a great distance. ⁠⠀
