Travel Review: Makgadikgadi Pans (Botswana Self Drive)[Overlanding 4x4/Water Crossing Travel]

An amazing trip into the Makgadikgadi salt pans becomes increasingly treacherous the further south we travel into the flooded flats. We traverse almost the entire length of the pans, including a stop at Kubu Island, but eventually the Hippo Beast succumbs to the water and mud, and we are stranded.
