Join author and surgeon Dr. Mary Neal as she discusses her extraordinary spiritual journey. In 1999 while cascading down a waterfall in her kayak, she became pinned underwater. Unable to be rescued immediately, she drowned.

In her book, To Heaven and Back, Mary tells her remarkable story of her life’s spiritual journey and what happened as she moved from life to death to eternal life, and back again. Mary’s life has been forever changed by her newfound understanding of her purpose on earth, her awareness of God, her closer relationship with Jesus, and her personal spiritual journey suddenly enhanced by a first-hand experience in heaven.

Dr. Mary Neal is an author and a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon. Born and raised in Michigan, she graduated from the University of Kentucky, attended UCLA medical school, and completed her orthopedic surgery training at the University of Southern California. Dr. Neal served as the director of spine surgery at the University of Southern California and is now in private practice. She lives and works in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
