Will Indonesia become 4th foreign country to buy French Rafale Fighter jets? KF-X & other options?

1: Indonesia is looking for a fighter jet. In the past there were news of Austrian Eurofighter & SU-35
2: But news came that Indonesia is in talks with France for new Rafales. 36-48 in numbers.
3: French Minister of Defense Florence Parly confirmed this and said the deal is well advanced.
4: Indonesia wants the deal to be signed before year end but its highly unlikely and French side thinks the same.
5: There is no defence deal history between both countries but last year in 2019 airbus sold Eurocopter EC725.
6: After Egypt, Qatar and india, Indonesia could be 4th export country. Greece also shown interest in Rafales. Finland and Switzerland are also interested in buying the French Rafale.
7: Indonesia is using 33 F-16A\B, which have started upgraded.
8: Along with American F-16, Indonesia also has 5 single seat Su-27, 2 dual seat SU-30MKs and 9 Dual seat SU-30MK2s.
9: It was expected that Indonesia would buy latest SU-35s but it seems that due to American pressure they have to scrap the deal.
10: Indonesia was also linked with KF-X. They had 20% stake in the project and planned to purchase 50 jets.
11: Indonesia is paying regularly to South Korea but KF-X will enter production in 2026-2028 so an interim solution is required.
12: Su-35 deal with Russia would have seen half the payments made in the form of exports of palm oil, rubber, and other commodities.
13: Austrian Eurofighters are also cheaper as they are 2nd hand but that will require permission from Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom — as well as the United States.
14: Eurofighter is not very famous for Air-Ground missions which maybe requirement for Indonesia
15: America is also offering its F-16 Block 70/72 which will come with AESA, New Mission Computers, large-format 6x8-inch high-resolution display, an internal electronic warfare system, and an advanced data link.
16: There were reports of Indonesian interest in F-35 but they will come costly.
