MY 3 MONTH "INTENSE" RELATIONSHIP WITH LEARNING GERMAN - Any Progress? (English Subtitles)

Hi, all! Happy New Year! This is the first video of the year and as you all know, I'm all about accountability. I want you guys to continue to hold me accountable in my commitment to acquire a C1 level of fluency in German!

I'm still learning German everyday via Duolingo to realize this goal. I also still watch the news, carry out weekly language exchanges with friends here, and have recently just finished my A2.2 German course!

If you're a long-time ex-pat living in Germany, what tips do you have for a novice like myself? How long did it take you to get fluent? Native-German speakers! Please don't be shy to correct where needed - I learn from it!
