► Public domain film. Fragment of a documentary produced by Universal Film in an unknown year, starting in 1912, the year Universal opened in the U.S. The only known surviving excerpt is this Dutch translation.
1) The preserved scenes (only beginning with the intertitle slide numbered 13) feature Huskies pulling sleds in the snow and handcars along the tracks. Once parked, they wait hungrily to be fed by their guides. It all takes place in the Nome region of Alaska.
