Disproporcionality and Racial
Disparities may sound like big
words, and unfortunately so is the
problem they refer to. While youth
of color are one-third of American
adolescents, they are two-thirds of
youth in juvenile facilities.
In this next segment, we are going
to visit a program that has made
the fight against racial and social
disparities, the center of its
existence since 1934.
