London to Bath in a MK II Jaguar in 1963 with George Eyles F231
A Journey from Castrol House in Marylebone Road London, to the City of Bath in a MKII Jaguar in 1963. Advanced motorist George Eyles takes us through London, out over the Hammersmith Flyover (an area which has really changed a lot) and follows the A4 West onto Reading and a newly built section of the M4. Later he passes through Newbury, Hungerford, Chippenham, Malborough, Calne, and ends at Bath. It is fascinating to see how all these towns and roads looked back then. I think some of this film is already on Youtube, but maybe not the whole unedited film as here.
