TOP THINGS TO DO IN MELAKA (MALACCA) // 2018

We started the day enjoying some delicious breakfast down Jonker Street. We found this gorgeous cafe, very much hidden behind the gift shops and plants - it's called THE DAILY FIX. If you would like to have those amazing banana pancakes or supper yummy salmon eggs Benedict too - just type in 55, Jalan Hang Jebat, 75200 Melaka to google maps and let the hunger take you there, you will not regret it.

After good two hours spent at the cafe, we headed to the heart of Melaka (Malacca) and this is where we saw the famous Christ Church Melaka which was built by Dutch in 1753. We also enjoyed the riverside and the cruises with people waving at us :)

We have finally decided to take the cruise ourselves and that was 40 minutes return trip. It was a great way to see the sights of Melaka at a leisurely pace, in comfort and without breaking the bank.

Towards the end of the day, we visited two more sights of this beautiful city - Melaka Straits Mosque & The Shore Sky Tower.
Both were stunning, colourful and breathtaking.

We finally ended the day with one of most traditional and popular dishes of Melaka - Laksa Curry and Oh my... that was one of the best dishes we had so far in Malaysia!

Overall - super busy, fun day exploring Malacca which is one of the most popular tourist destinations within Malaysia.
