Discovering the Catechism - Deacon Joe Calvert

Deacon Joe Calvert came through a few different worldviews over the years, from Christian Science to atheism. When he started to explore Catholicism, he decided to look at the Catechism, expecting to encounter a dry textbook full of arbitrary rules. What he found instead was that the Catholic Church's teaching on everything, from salvation to the moral life, was a lot richer and more beautiful, not to mention more reasonable, than he had realized.
