Fly Sky FS i6S Rechargeable battery mod

As I've heard many people say in their YouTube videos, "I wasn't sure that it would work, so I didn't record it"; well, now I'm guilty of just that. I have had this transmitter for a couple of years now, and I've enjoyed it, but replacing batteries has been the most frustrating part about it. I recently thought about modding the USB port to be able to charge batteries inside the transmitter, but it turns out that the USB cannot be used for that purpose as it's isolated from the battery circuit. Instead of messing with the electronics in the FS-i6S, I decided to use this; however, this can be replicated with just about any 7.4v battery and charger combination. Please feel free to ask for some tips in the description.
