A little peek into my morning scroll.

My guitar teacher in high school had a little Alamo amp that he used in his studio at the depressing music store where I took lessons. I have a very vivid picture of that room in my mind, the paneling, the way it smelled, my teacher, Jerry’s flannel shirts and navy tattoos, and this little amp that sat under the desk some years later, my friend Bill, who also took lessons from Jerry, found the amp for sale in that music store and scooped it up.

But all that started a long fascination with Alamo, the amps in particular, but the guitars too to a lesser degree and so Alamo is one of my saved eBay searches cuz I like to peruse.

I was so tickled when I saw this wire handle that somebody soldered to this old little Alamo amp. I just had to immortalize the reveal.
