[Time-lapse] Refinishing an old barn beam for a mantle

First, I clean up the wood with a wire wheel in my drill. Then I sand with progressively higher grit sandpaper starting with 80, moving to 120 and then finishing with 220. Next is a wipe down with mineral spirits and then rubbing with tung oil. The next day I sand again with 220 and rub in another coat of tung oil.
