Marmion Abbey, named in honor of Blessed Columba Marmion (1858-1923), is a Benedictine monastery founded in 1933 in Aurora, IL. The monks run Marmion Academy, an all boys college-prep high school. They are responsible for San José Priory in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Marmion Abbey also provides pastoral assistance for parishes of the Rockford and Joliet Dioceses.
