(Verse 1)
They fled through dark on silent tide,
With tyrants left and stars as guide.
The isle ahead was still and wide,
A place where time itself had died.

(Verse 2)
The trees were pale, the temples tall,
The broken gods had seen it all.
And statues stood with sightless stare,
As if the stone still breathed the air.

(Chorus)
There are shadows in the moonlight, cold and real,
That even steel may fear to feel.
They move when night has reached its height,
In cursed halls and ghost-pale light.

(Verse 3)
She dreamed of eyes that watched her soul,
Of shapes that stirred where none should stroll.
And Conan stood with sword drawn tight,
To guard her through the endless night.

(Verse 4)
Then iron moved with dreadful grace,
A mimic mask of ancient face.
And from the tombs of lost command,
The dead returned with blade in hand.

(Chorus)
There are shadows in the moonlight, cold and real,
That even steel may fear to feel.
They move when night has reached its height,
In cursed halls and ghost-pale light.

(Bridge)
What man has carved may still obey,
But not when time has slipped away.
And those who walk where gods have bled
Will find the past is never dead.

(Outro)
The sea took back its wayward pair,
The dawn rose slow on haunted air.
Yet still the isle beneath the tide
Keeps moonlit things that once had died.
