Our teaching practice was successfully completed at Government Comprehensive High School for Boys from 1st April 2026 to 21st May 2026. During this period, our school in-charge was Mr. Asad Mahmood, while our teaching supervisor was Dr. Ghazanfar Ali. A total of six trainee teachers participated in the teaching practice program, including Kamran Abdullah, Zohaib Hassan, Muhammad Arshad, Umar Farooq, Abdullah Rawana, and Akbar Khan. Throughout the practice, all of us remained regular, punctual, and committed to our assigned responsibilities. We usually arrived at the school between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. and remained there until 1:30 p.m. daily.

During our internship, we mainly taught students of Classes 6, 7, and 8, while Classes 9 and 10 were taught occasionally. This teaching practice provided us with practical classroom experience and helped us improve our teaching skills, communication, confidence, classroom management, and lesson planning abilities. Our supervisor, Dr. Ghazanfar Ali, visited us four times during the practice to observe our teaching methods and guide us professionally. His observations and suggestions were very helpful for our improvement. He mainly focused on our teaching methodology. Initially, we mentioned the “Lecture Method” in our lesson plans, but he guided us that in school teaching, the “Expository Method” should be used instead because teaching cannot rely only on lectures. His guidance helped us better understand practical and effective classroom teaching techniques.

An interesting incident during the practice was when our Head of Department visited our school by mistake. He was actually supposed to visit the Government Comprehensive Girls High School, but since both institutions have similar names, he mistakenly visited the boys’ high school. Despite this confusion, his visit became a memorable part of our teaching practice experience.

Our lesson model presentations were conducted on 20th May 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. During the presentation, I, Kamran Abdullah, prepared and taught two lessons: “Gender Nouns” for English Class 6 and “LAN and WAN” for Computer Science Class 8. However, I presented only my English lesson model during the formal observation session. This experience greatly enhanced my teaching confidence and presentation skills.

Finally, we submitted our Teaching Practice Manual-II on 21st May 2026 after successfully completing all teaching activities and requirements. Overall, the teaching practice was a valuable and memorable learning experience for all of us. It provided us with an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in real classroom situations and prepared us for our future professional careers as teachers.
