Join us on an exciting fishing adventure as we explore on Big Island Hawaii

📍Location: Big Island, Hawaii

It was a perfect morning on the Big Island of Hawaii, with clear skies and the gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore. Gabby, Shai, and I had been planning this fishing trip for weeks, and the conditions couldn’t have been better. We set out early, just as the sun started to rise over the ocean, casting a golden glow across the water. The air was fresh with the scent of salt and plumeria, and the excitement among us was electric.

We chose a quiet spot near Kealakekua Bay, known for its rich marine life and calm, crystal-clear waters. Gabby had brought along her favorite fishing rod, and Shai was already telling stories about the big fish she planned to catch. We set up our gear, tossed out the lines, and waited with the sun warming our backs. Turtles occasionally popped their heads up nearby, and schools of colorful fish swam past, adding to the peaceful, tropical vibe.

The first bite of the day went to Shai, who reeled in a decent-sized mahi-mahi with a mix of shock and pride. Gabby soon followed with a beautiful yellowfin tuna that had all of us cheering. I managed to snag a few small snappers myself, but just being out there with good company made it feel like I’d already hit the jackpot. We laughed, joked, and took turns trying to outdo each other, but it was all in good fun.

Around midday, we took a break and enjoyed a simple picnic on the boat – fresh fruit, sandwiches, and cold drinks under the Hawaiian sun. The water around us sparkled, and the sounds of nature made it feel like time had slowed down. Gabby snapped some great photos of the scenery and our catches, while Shai leaned back and soaked in the sunshine, a satisfied grin on her face.

As the afternoon came to a close, we reluctantly packed up our gear and headed back toward the dock. The boat ride back was quiet, with everyone feeling relaxed and happy, the kind of contentment that only comes from a day well spent. Fishing with Gabby and Shai on the Big Island had been more than just a fun outing – it was a memory we’d all carry with us for a long time.
