Brunettes Shoot Blondes is an indie band famous for its creative videos, the first one of which, Knock Knock, has been watched more than 100 million times on various platforms. The new video is for Hips, the main song from an upcoming EP of the same name.
"We stuffed the video with oddball heroes and their actions, analog musical instruments, and gadgets. We also built the deco to create the illusion of 3D space. The point was to make something both very stylized, and interesting." - says Andrew, the frontman of the band and the director of the video. "The song was inspired by the most tempting part of the body. So we wanted the video to realize some of the lyrics" In typical BSB fashion, the entire creative process going into the video was from a single source. Everything, from the first idea to the final cut, was made by the band.
