Kapture KPT 850 Dashcam Review

This is my first dashcam and got it from JB-Hifi on special for $110.

The look of this device is so much better than other devices out there. It is sleek and very discrete. It does not stand out at all attached to the windscreen of my vehicle.

There is plenty of cable length to hide around the trim of the windscreen and since my car does not have usb or car lighter at the stereo console, i had to feed the cable all around the passenger side and all across the center console. There was still enough cable length even after hiding the cable around the edges for a clean finish.

Overall the footage was quite good but i guess being only 1080p and the framerate at 30fps, at high speed the number plates arent readable but at low speed or full stop the number plates are quite clear.
