Subnautica 2 Nook Blueprint Location Guide 🪟 Where to Find the Data Boxes

Need to unlock the Nook base component in Subnautica 2? In this quick guide, I’ll show you where to find the data boxes that contain the Nook blueprint so you can unlock this decorative base-building piece.

The Nook is a base component that creates a windowed nook sticking out from your habitat. It is a great piece for better views, cleaner base decoration, and making your underwater home feel less like a metal survival tube with storage lockers stapled to the walls.

Unlike some Subnautica 2 blueprints, the Nook does not require scanning multiple fragments. Instead, you unlock it by finding a blueprint data box out in the world. Once you locate and collect the correct data box, the Nook blueprint unlocks and becomes available through your Habitat Builder.

In this video, I’ll show you the known data box locations where the Nook blueprint can appear, how to recognize the blueprint container, and how to confirm that the Nook has been unlocked in your build menu. Since the Nook can be found in one of a couple locations, check each data box shown in the guide until the blueprint unlocks.

Once unlocked, the Nook is perfect for observation areas, decorative bedrooms, cozy corners, scenic base extensions, and any room where you want a better view of the ocean without building another giant base module.
