This helicopter sightseeing city tour over Kuala Lumpur has to be one of the Top Kuala Lumpur attractions (if not the Top Kuala Lumpur Attraction) and if you get the chance to do it while on holiday in Kuala Lumpur we highly recommend that you try to do it. We took the 6 Minute tour over Kuala Lumpur City and the helicopter flight started and ended at the Ascend Skytours helipad at the Titiwangsa Lake Gardens. The helicopter flight was flown in a Robinson R44 Raven I a helicopter with space for 3 passengers and a pilot (4 seats in all). Maro and I took this helicopter ride alone with the pilot and were treated too fantastic views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline and the cities famous buildings, attractions and landmarks. Sights seen during the helicopter tour included the Petronas Towers (Petronas Twin Towers), the KL Tower (also called the Menara KL Tower or Kuala Lumpur Tower), the Sultan Abdul Samad Building next to the Merdeka Square and it´s tall flagpole, the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, The National Mosque of Malaysia (Malay: Masjid Negara Malaysia, مسجد نݢارا مليسيا), the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, Stadium Negara, the Berjaya Times Square Building (the shopping mall with an amusement park including a roller coaster inside it), views of Kampung Baru, Bukit Bintang and many other sights, landmarks and area of Kuala Lumpur.
