President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. pays his last respects to former President Fidel V. Ramos in a wake visit at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City on August 4, 2022.
President Ramos was the 12th President of the Republic of the Philippines. It was during his term when the nation was dubbed as the ‘Tiger Cub Economy in Asia’.
Prior to his election as Chief Executive, he served as Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP) in 1986-1988 and Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary in 1988-1991.
