Tulsi Mala Making Device for Bigger Beads

Intended Use:
This device is used to make beads of various shapes and sizes from wooden stem that are produced by turning operation. It has capacity to turn beads from size 5mm to 25mm diameter.

Device Feature:
1. Simultaneous turning and drilling operation.
2. Speed regulation with foot paddle.
3. Adjustable tool post.
4. Built in mechanism to align pin and stem holder shaft.
5. Stem holder with hassle free stem holding mechanism.
6. Integrated clamp for ease of pin replacement.

Operating Procedure:
1. Place the machine on a table or flat surface as convenient such that the motor end is towards your left and the tool post towards your right.
2. Set the speed of the motor as per your convenience by adjusting the screw height provided in the foot pedal.
3. Insert the foot pedal (female) connector into the device socket (pedal to motor).
4. Insert the three pin plug into the AC socket (AC socket to pedal).
5. Place the foot pedal close to your operating foot.
6. Insert the tapered end of the Tulsi stem into the stem holder.
7. Adjust centre of the stem cross section so that it coincides with the pin.
8. Place your left hand over the hand rest, gently press the foot pedal and slide the motor housing towards the tool post until the stem touches sheet metal surface.
9. Place and hold the cutting tool on the tool post block and start turning operation.
10. Slide back the motor housing and remove the finished bead from the pin.
11. Repeat steps 6 to 10 till the last bead is produced from the stem.

Note: This machine is designed for right hand operators. Left hand version can be customized on demand. 2. Do not over tighten the stem holder. It will reduce its life.

Maintenance:
1. Clean the deposition of saw dust around motor, shaft, and connectors regularly.
2. In case carbon bush wear out, visit nearby motor repair shop to replace it.
3. Keep checking the tightness of all fasteners (stem holder, motor housing, tool post, bracket and rail).
