Exploring BORDEAUX in FRANCE:

When visiting France this year, we decided to spend 2 days in Bordeaux.

Bordeaux is a port city on the Garonne River in southwestern France. It is well known for its delightful wines and breath-taking architecture. Since June 2007, the city has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in recognition of the unity of its exceptional urban heritage.

Bordeaux simply is an amazing city not to be missed!

📍 PLACE DE LA COMÉDIE – square around the Grand Theatre
📍 MONUMENT AUX GIRONDINS – a dramatic fountain monument
📍 LE CITÉ DU VIN (The City of Wine) - wine related exhibits in a modern space (20€ entrance fee – tour companion & tasting of one glass of wine in the top floor bar included into the price)
