Epic WW2 Reenactment [Snow Battle for the Bridge] -- South Elgin 2019

German and American soldiers fight each other for keep of the Nijmegen Bridge. Filmed at the 2019 annual Rails to Victory reenactment at the Fox River Trolley Museum in South Elgin, IL. With a sudden late April snowfall, things quickly turned very cold and very wet, but I was happy to finally film a reenactment in the snow. It was well worth the frigid temperature.

All reenactments are done with blank rounds, which means the shells have gunpowder but no projectile. If you are interested in reenacting, just keyword it and look for a unit near you.
