TEDxChelsea: Martha Buskirk - Art, Money, Desire

Martha Buskirk is Professor of Art History and Criticism at Montserrat College of Art. She is the author of The Contingent Object of Contemporary Art and co-editor of The Duchamp Effect and The Destruction of Tilted Arc: Documents. Her new book, Creative Enterprise: Contemporary Art between Museum and Marketplace, was published by Continuum in April 2012.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
