Angular Momentum Physics Practice Problems

This physics video tutorial provides a few examples and practice problems on angular momentum. It explains how to calculate the angular momentum and rotational inertia of a spinning disk in the first problem. In the second problem, it explains how to calculate the average torque acting on a rod using angular momentum. The third problem discusses how to calculate the torque acting on a rod as well as the final angular momentum and final angular speed of the rod after a certain time period has elapsed. In addition, it explains how to calculate the work done by the force on the rod using rotational torque as well as rotational kinetic energy. The last problem discusses how to calculate the final angular speed of a merry-go-round after a child jumps on it using conservation of angular momentum.
