Exploring Thailand: A visit to the biggest Stupa in the country - Phra Pathom Chedi

After a long long train journey we finally made it back to Central Thailand. I have visited Nakhon Pathom many years ago and I always wanted to come back. Only now I realize how great this town is. Not only does it have the biggest and tallest Stupa of all of Thailand but there are almost no tourist to be seen. Nakhon Pathom seem to be stuck in time anyway, in the cheap chinese hotel we stayed (300 bath for a family room) sure still looks like it h as in the 1950.
