Chelsea and I (Richard) went to for the day to explore one of our favorite yellow-post camp sites in san bernardino Forest in our 2019 tacoma trd PRO and 2 more TRD OFF-Road Tacomas came along. We explored fire road 3N06A in lytle creek. Lytle creek is a really nice area for locals looking to camp/ overland in a yellow post site in Southern California. We had camped here before but were looking for a new yellow post campsite up here since they have about 12 sites and we also heard this one was walking distance from a creek. 4x4 is definitely required for this road (3N06A) This the only trail one of the only trails in lytle creek that recommends 4x4/AWD. The other trails in Lyttle creek are much easier. Its Just rocky up here. Theres no amenities here, no water, restroom, trash can, bench. Only fire rings in designated yellow post areas. Please do not litter and take your trash with you when you head out.
