ateb deliver over 50 WeCare bags - May 2021

This month we delivered over 50 ateb WeCare bags to customers who had been nominated by friends, family or neighbours. The bags aim to help combat loneliness by providing activities to stimulate your mind, pass time productively and have a little bit of fun. In the bags were a variety of goodies, from puzzle books, adult colouring book, playing cards, colouring pencils or even a stress ball. The items were a mixture of donations from ateb suppliers or purchased by ateb as a thank you for bearing with us through these challenging Covid-19 times.

Sadie one of our customers said "I wasn't expecting anything so it's a lovely surprise. I haven't tried colouring in before but I had a go last night and it was actually quite fun and relaxing. It's a lovely gesture and I am very grateful, thank you."

All of the WeCare bags were delivered in person to customers in our Independent Living homes, our accommodation designed for our older customers that promote independent living with support available if needed.
