2026 Mazda CX-30 Turbo Aire Combines Performance, Luxury, and Value

The 2026 Mazda CX-30 carries over its two-engine strategy with standard i-Activ AWD across the entire lineup and a six-speed automatic transmission — no CVT, no DCT, no hybrid option. The base Skyactiv-G 2.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder produces 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque on any fuel grade. Step up to the Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo and you get 227 hp and 310 lb-ft on 87 octane, climbing to 250 hp and 320 lb-ft on 93 octane premium — peak torque arrives between 2,000 and 2,500 rpm. EPA ratings are 24 city / 31 highway / 27 combined for the 2.5 S non-turbo trims, and 22 city / 30 highway / 25 combined for the Turbo. New for 2026, every CX-30 gets a brake-based limited-slip differential (it's brake-actuated rear torque vectoring, not a mechanical or electronic LSD) and updated dampers. Towing is rated at 2,000 lbs.

The 2026 lineup spans eight trims, all prices excluding the $1,495 destination charge: 2.5 S at $26,375, 2.5 S Select Sport at $28,060, 2.5 S Preferred at $29,690, the new 2.5 S Aire Edition at $30,250, 2.5 Carbon Edition at $31,430, 2.5 S Premium at $33,640, the new 2.5 Turbo Aire Edition at $34,410, and 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus topping out at $37,900. Note: Mazda has announced that 2.5 S model pricing will increase by $400 effective May 4, 2026. The Carbon Turbo trim from prior model years has been deleted, and both Aire Editions are new — they're cosmetic packages with gloss-black badges, black 18-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails and mirrors, and a lighter interior with white leatherette seats. Premium paint colors (Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Snowflake White Pearl, Aero Gray, Polymetal Gray, Ceramic Metallic) add $595.

Feature-wise, the base 2.5 S includes an 8.8-inch non-touch display with the commander knob, wired CarPlay/Android Auto, an 8-speaker audio system, full i-Activsense suite (radar cruise with stop-and-go, Smart Brake Support, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning with lane keep assist), 16-inch wheels, and cloth seats. The Select Sport adds 18-inch wheels, leatherette, heated front seats, dual-zone climate, eight-way power driver's seat, and wireless CarPlay/Android Auto. Preferred and above get the 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, moonroof, and rain-sensing wipers. Carbon Edition adds the 12-speaker Bose system, HD Radio, and the Polymetal Gray-with-red-leather combo. Premium adds heated steering wheel, 360° camera, power liftgate, adaptive front lighting, and active driving display. Turbo Premium Plus tops things off with paddle shifters, SiriusXM, and Cruising and Traffic Support — Mazda's Level 2 hands-on adaptive cruise with lane centering.
