One of the strongest ideas in my coaching, this mindset helps you take responsibility for your feelings while acknowledging them at the same time, which lessons the pain it causes. What do you want to feel moving forward?

(3:00) 2. Stop Giving Other People Power
“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.” - Mahatma Gandhi
When others touch on our vulnerabilities, it can be easy to allow yourself to feel pain and hurt from their actions. Choose to not accept mental or emotional hurt from the actions of others to avoid hurt feelings.

(5:22) 3. Use Your Positive Affirmations
"Nothing you say or do to me means anything about me, even if it’s directed towards me.” Bonnie Kelly
Learn to distance yourself from people's judgements and opinions and perceptions. Strengthen your emotional resiliency and thicken your skin when you realize that other people speak from their own hurt and it has nothing to do with you.

(6:07) 4. Stop Taking Things So Personally!
"Remember that, hurt people - hurt people."
Other people's dysfunction is their own and cause damage to others because they are hurt themselves. It is your choice to not allow their judgement to affect us.

(7:37) 5. Listen to What People Are Really Saying
“When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. That’s the message he is sending.” - Thich Nhat Hanh
People call out for attention in many ways, and sometimes it can be perceived as attacks. Bullying is a cry for attention, help, guidance, and love.

(8:29) 6. Assert Conscious Boundaries
One of the best ways to thicken your skin is just being ok with others not being ok, and to set boundaries with the mindset of teaching others how to interact and engage with us. Know that people don't want to hurt you, they simply don't know how to treat you.

(10:16) 7. Use Your Self Confidence!

Be willing to love yourself enough to teach others.
