Parental Alienation - A Trans-Generational Trauma

Karen Woodall is a Trans-Generational Psychotherapist Treating Parental Alienation. She is a highly experienced psychotherapist and author who has worked with separated families since 1991.

Research reveals that adult alienated children suffer in very unique ways—ways that include a strong chance of becoming alienated from their own children. The interminable pain follows adult–child victims from a traumatic alienated childhood into a traumatic adulthood, a seemingly endless trans-generational trauma repetition. As helping professionals, unique, creative skills are needed in order to meaningfully serve this “special population.”

Karen runs the Family (Separation) Clinic in the United Kingdom, which offers services to parents who are experiencing the loss of a child after family separation due to parental alienation.
