Knapps Loch, Kilmacolm

Knapps Loch is located beside the village of Kilmacolm in Renfrewshire Scotland. The Loch is itself artificial, having been created by a local angling club in 1911. It is shallow, with a number of islands, and has a small boathouse and landing stage at the shore. The loch has provided a beautiful facility, not only to anglers but also to recreational walkers, observers of wildlife and photographers who continue to enjoy the beauty of the loch and its surrounds. ​
