Recharging Batteries using Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate)

Six 6 volt batteries that sat for a year with no liquid in them. After refilling them with distilled water, they could not be charged enough for the system charger to even recognize that it was connected to batteries. The batteries were drained and then filled with a magnesium sulfate solution. The batteries were charged almost to full capacity and had sufficient power to operate equipment.
