Caracals in Ethiopia

Footage of Caracals in Ethiopia. Our team attempted to keep the light off of their eyes or wait until after hunts. You will, unfortunately, see occasions when the light does reflect into their eyes. The scouts did ok given that they aren't used to these kinds of expectations or even working with tourists on something like this. We'd start at 10pm and go until about 8am every night, looking for the black maned Ethiopian lion. Along the way, we got to be very intimate with 9 caracals for a total of maybe 5 hours. No tourists anywhere within miles as we were far into Afar tribe regions and had a hired team to protect us.
