House prices across the country are again hitting new records.

Australia's two biggest markets have regained ground lost since the start of the pandemic.

Sydney has reached a fresh peak and Melbourne will follow within the weeks.

But there are fears that people may overstretch themselves at a time when laws aimed at protecting them from taking on too much debt are set to be wound back.
