A police department in Indiana released shocking footage of an officer accidentally shooting his partner in the back while searching for a fugitive earlier this week.

TLDR:
-Cops were looking for a wanted guy who was a violent offender and known to be armed so they had their guns out.
-While clearing an apartment a giant dog breaks out of it's cage.
-Officers all try to run out of the door so they don't have to shoot the dog.
-One officer accidentally pulls the trigger on his service weapon, striking another in the back.
