'I can lead in any position' | Kevin McCarthy on rebecoming Speaker if House goes into deadlock

Former House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) remains open to potentially returning as Speaker of the House, in the wake of the Hamas attack on Israel, should the House of Representatives go into deadlock over the electing of a new Speaker.

While making remarks to the press on the current state of war between Israel and Hamas, the former Speaker was asked about the prospect of his reinstatement, McCarthy deferred to the conference's decision, emphasising his readiness to take on various leadership positions as needed.
