African leaders, including President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, have renewed calls for Africa to gain permanent seats on the UN Security Council; Education Minister Sanet Steenkamp praised the creativity and excellence showcased at the 4th National Skills Competition in Swakopmund; the 8th Rural Women’s Parliament with Men as Partners has kicked off in Windhoek, focusing on gender-based violence and inclusion; and, the City of Windhoek has donated helmets and reflector jackets to 150 cyclists and pedestrians during Zero Emissions Week.
