The Caballo Blanco Ultra Marathon 2017-Running with the Tarahumara-Episode 3

We had the privilege of running with a young Raramuri legend, Miguel Lara. This is a series about traveling to the Copper Canyons of Mexico to run the Caballo Blanco Ultra Marathon. I attempted to run this race in 2015, but it was cancelled at the last minute due to violence in the canyons. Thankfully, things are safer now. In this episode, we go on a run with the legendary Miguel Lara, 3 time winner of the Caballo Blanco Ultra. Along the way, we visit his home and village. After the run, we experience a Temescal, a sweat lodge cleansing ceremony.
