Discovering Cedric Morris Part 4: The Long Lost Bust of Cedric

Watch our Head of Research Lawrence Hendra explore one of the most curious objects in our upcoming exhibition, 'Cedric Morris Beyond the Garden Wall', in the fourth installment of our 'Discovering Cedric Morris' short series. The bust is a fascinating discovery and it is until only recently that the true identity of the subject has come to light. Research conducted by Philip Mould & Co. into Cedric's early years in Cornwall and our extensive trips to the Tate archive have now determined the bust to be none other than Cedric himself as seen by his friend, the sculptor Frank Dobson (1888-1963).
