Re: Draw CRAP CONTEST-Canned Artist's Shit -Charcoal Drawing

Canned Artist's Shit - Charcoal Drawing

This is my contribution to the Recycling Movement - Waste to Wealth

When we think of great popular movements of the last century, the labor movement, the civil rights movement, the anti-war movement and the women's rights movement quickly come to mind. The recycling movement deserves to be added to this illustrious list, for it may be the largest multi-ethnic, multi-class, and multi-generation movement in American history. More people recycle than vote in the US.

Did Andy Warhol create the 32 Campbell's Soup Cans?

No. He recreated them on 32 canvases using a silk-screen process.

Did I create the Piero Manzoni can?

No. I recreated the can as a charcoal rendering which I then made into a video; musically accompanied by the first two notes from the "Buthole Surfers" Pop song they covered. The covered song is the 1966 hit single "Summer in the City," performed by "The Lovin' Spoonful," written by Mark Sebastian and Steve Boone.

It's all about recycling.

Since this is a "Crap Contest," I feel the only way to win is not to follow the rules. Especially when the two rules were both named "RULE#2."

Here's my #2:
Charcoal Drawing of
"Canned Artist's Shit"

Would it truly be a Crap Video if I did follow both #2 rules?
